Our Lions Club supports a range of good causes and projects in our local area where you can get involved. We organise remarkable and memorable fundraising activities. We also support both National and International projects with memorable fundraising activities. All profits raised going direct to good causes. We have been doing this for the past 51 years. Lions Club International has been doing it since 1917. Look around our website and see for yourself. The Lions Club of Bletchley have donated £800 to The Food Cupboard in Bletchley, the money was collected at Tesco’s Bletchley and Morrison’s Westcroft just before Christmas. Three Lions clubs have joined together to support the new Food Cupboard which has been renamed “The Food Cupboard with MK Lions Clubs”
Lion Mick Bravister is 68 years young and has chronic heart disease and is planning a 26 mile walk starting at Bletchley MK 3 5BE and finishing at Scots Club Bletchley MK3 5BX via the Grand Union Canal and Wolverton the Walk will take him approximately 8 Hours and he is raising funds for The Lions Club of Bletchley ,Registered Charity Number 279584 .Please sponsor him and The Lions Club of Bletchley.
Lion Mick Bravister raised £900 on his sponsored walk
The Lions Club of Bletchley have donated £300 to The Leighton Buzzard Helpers Food Cupboard, the money was collected at Tesco’s and Morrisons\Dobbie’s garden center. Morrison’s have supported the Leighton Buzzard Help with generous donations of food and help over this lockdown period.
Well done to Lion Pat who is in discussion with Milton Keynes University Hospital and, as there are very few visitors, they don’t need any more parent / visitor packs at present. But they are in desperate need of things to keep those in the children’s ward (age 3 to 11) occupied. Lion Pat has purchased £75 worth of colouring books / pens and other things to do.
