Wishing Wells
This project was instigated by Lion Mike Bartlett. The first well was installed in Dobbies Garden Centre in Fenny Stratford on March 2nd 2007. The second well was installed in the Wyevale Garden Centre at Woburn Sands on 5th October 2007
The sourcing and installation was done by Lion Mike with the aid of Lion Bob Webb. Now both wells are regularly producing good returns every month. The monies are allocated to specific charities from time to time. See details below. Good work Lions Mike and Bob ...

Update May 2011
Current donations will go to the Open Door Hostel in Bletchley. Open Door is a charity comprising representatives of both voluntary and statutory organisations and indivduals working to alleviate the housing problems of single homeless people. It runs a drop in centre on Wednesdays in Queensway Methodist Church Hall, Bletchley, between 11am and 1.30pm, where it aims to provide a hot 3 course meal and access to support services with the aim of regenerating the service users back into society.
